Annaleigh arrives
October 23rd, 2007 by JaredOn Sunday, October 21st at 4:22 p.m., Darla and I welcomed our daughter Annaleigh Kate into the world. She was 6lb 8oz, 19 inches long, and has ten fingers and ten toes.
It was a very emotional experience, as most of you can probably imagine. Here are some photos taken over the recent days.

Welcome little Annaleigh. We’ve been expecting you! It’s so nice to see you. You keeping Mom and Dad busy? Can’t wait to meet you sweetheart. Eat, sleep, poop and we’ll see you when you’re ready.

Annaleigh Kate, a lovely name for a beautiful girl. Congratulations is not enough, but all I can give you from Australia right now. The tyranny of distance is a difficult thing.
Would love to hug you both with Annaleigh gently protected and held in the centre.

Babies are like people but smaller and not as smart yet. So I’m guessing she’ll get bigger and smarter. Not too smart though, I hope. Nobody likes it when their kid is smarter than them. Even though we are all smarter than our parents. So best of luck staying smarter than Annaleigh.
